Hier sind drei Tipps, wie Sie Ihre Mantide gut unterbringen können!
1 - Sehen Sie sich Ihr Tier genau an! Unsere Pakete werden unter optimalen Bedingungen versendet. Dennoch raten wir Ihnen dringend, den Zustand Ihrer Mantide bei der Ankunft genau zu überprüfen. Dies gilt insbesondere, wenn sie sich während des Versands gehäutet hat.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass diese Beobachtung durch die Transportbox und ohne Berührung erfolgen muss. Vermeiden Sie auf jeden Fall weiteren Stress für Ihr Tier!
2 - Bereiten Sie das Terrarium vor! Obwohl wir bei L'insecterie alles daran setzen, dass jedes Tier gut transportiert wird, kann Ihre Mantide bei ihrer Ankunft leicht gestresst sein. Wir empfehlen Ihnen daher, das Terrarium vor dem Empfang vorzubereiten, damit Sie die Haltungsbedingungen überprüfen können und Ihrem Tier zusätzlichen Stress ersparen! Richten Sie das Terrarium mit möglichst vielen Verstecken ein, zumindest für den Anfang der Aufzucht, und testen Sie vorher die Temperatur und die Luftfeuchtigkeit! Wenn alles in Ordnung ist, setzen Sie Ihr Tier vorsichtig ein, ohne es zu berühren.
3- Lassen Sie das Tier sich akklimatisieren! Sobald Ihr Paket angekommen ist, stellen Sie es in den Aufzuchtraum, indem Sie es öffnen, ohne das Tier auszupacken. Dies ermöglicht einen Temperaturausgleich und verhindert einen zu großen Schock für Ihr Insekt. Nach etwa 20 Minuten nehmen Sie das Tier aus der Box und setzen es in Ihr Terrarium. Ihre Mantide wird in den ersten Tagen eine ruhige Umgebung schätzen. Wir raten Ihnen davon ab, sie am ersten Tag zu füttern oder zu beleuchten (außer wenn die Beleuchtung Ihre Wärmequelle ist).
